Designed for life on the move

Nomad Nest Co. was born in Western Australia from lived experience — two years of full-time travel with three kids, cooking every meal in a small, mobile kitchen.

Our old stackable set used a traditional non-stick coating. Within months, it began to wear, the sizing wasn’t practical for a family of five, and we weren’t comfortable continuing to cook on a damaged surface.

We went looking for a better option — something more durable, family-sized, and suited to compact living. That led us to aluminium cookware finished with a mineral-based ceramic coating.

The aluminium base provides fast, even heat while remaining lightweight for travel. The ceramic coating is derived from silicon (sand) and is designed without intentionally added PFOA or PTFE. It offers a practical alternative to traditional non-stick surfaces for everyday cooking.

After trialling a range of manufacturers, we selected a set that met our needs — generous cooking capacity, a compact nesting design, and materials suited to regular use on the road.

Can the pans be used on Induction cook tops?

Yes, absolutely. The Stainless Steel base is designed for Induction and to aid in fast even heating

Can this cookware be used on gas stoves?


Yes. The cookware works perfectly on gas cooktops, portable camping stoves and household stovetops.

Can the pan go in the oven?

Yes. Once the handle has been removed it's safe to use in the oven

Can the lid be used in the oven?

The lid is glass with silicon and although is heat resistant, it is recommended to only use when stovetop cooking.

Is the ceramic coating non toxic?


Yes. The ceramic coating is free from PFAS and traditional non stick chemicals, offering a healthier alternative for everyday cooking.

Is this designed for caravans and camper kitchens?


Yes. The stackable design is specifically made to save cupboard space in caravans, campervans and compact kitchens.

Does the removable handle work on every pan?
